Cooking Instructions – General: Wash before use. Chef’s Tip: Put a skewer through the potato or use a fork to piece the potato as deeply as you can. This allows air into the potato when cooking and helps make it more creamy and fluffy. Check product is piping hot before serving. Do not re-heat. Larger potatoes will take maximum time to cook, potatoes should be soft on the inside after the 2 minutes standing time. We have given you these cooking instructions as a guide only.
Microwave – From Ambient: Place on absorbent paper. For 1 potato cook on full power for 8-16 minutes (700W), 7-15 minutes (800W), 6-14 minutes (900W). For 4 potatoes cook on full power for 15-23 minutes (700W), 14-22 minutes (800W), 13-21 minutes (900W). Turn halfway through cooking. Leave to stand for 2 minutes. For a crispy skin place in a pre-heated oven 200°C/400°F/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6 for around 10 minutes.
Oven cook – From Ambient: Place straight onto the oven shelf and bake in a pre-heated oven at 200°C/400°F/Fan 180°C/Gas Mark 6 for 60-90 minutes until soft.
