Preparation and Usage

  • You can also cut out shapes from our Ready Rolled Icing and use to cover biscuits or cupcakes.
  • Get Baking!
  • To cover a cake spread a thin layer of smooth apricot jam or buttercream on the cake.
  • To cover a layer of marzipan brush the marzipan with water.
  • Carefully unroll
  • Ensure the icing is at room temperature, to prevent cracking. Carefully and slowly unroll the icing.
  • Drape over cake
  • Lift the plastic sheet and drape over your cake, icing side down. Gently peel away the plastic sheet.
  • Smooth down
  • Smooth the icing over the care from the top to the edges and down the sides. Trim away any excess icing with a sharp knife.
  • For a perfect finish, polish the icing using the palm of your hand to create a sheen on the surface.
